Namibia
The most important attraction of Namibia is its extremities. The country has extreme distances, extreme differences in temperature and extreme landscapes.

Namibia is known for its strange sand dunes in Sossusvlei, reflecting beautiful light, and is known for the dried out lakes of the Etosha National Park. The east of the country offers the plain desert of the Kalahari and in the south of Namibia you find the green plateau around the Fish River Canyon.
In combination with these wonders of nature you meet with the history of the various inhabitants. The San and the Khoi-Khoi shepherds (the ancestors of the Nama ’s) have left traces of their art and lifestyle, the German colonial occupancy can be recognised in the architecture of the houses in the small towns of Namibia and the 13 different tribes and cultures are adding up to a country were 16 languages and dialects are spoken. The main ones are Afrikaans, German, Oshiwambo, Herero, Damara /Nama, Lozi, Kwangali and Tswana.
